My flowers are plucked out
I want to scream and shout
My branches too cut out
I can’t stand my fear and doubt
Wasn’t I their angel tree
Leaving them in my shade so free
Their thoughts I always carry
But now…why they left me so weary
My flowers are plucked out
I want to scream and shout
My branches too cut out
I can’t stand my fear and doubt
Wasn’t I their angel tree
Leaving them in my shade so free
Their thoughts I always carry
But now…why they left me so weary

hi,
u cannot write it on friends,
may be u appear like some elderly person,
ya, but later i thought that nature might be talking,
but roxy, i did not understand how can one be free in the shade?
To provide shade is to protect from calamities, like providing shelter, its difficult to be free in ones shelter,
then what is the freedom over here all about?
And what thoughts did you carry? I could not understand,
The poem looks simple, but its not,
is their any other underlying meaning?
You know i can visualise banyan tree talking to oneself?
I donno, but I can see……
bye

left to you 🙂
very touching..somewhere i feel related.
it depends on how you take it sarah. maybe for me such a factor can have deep impact?
looks deeper than that…like you said, maybe friends…i wonder what…
maybe none of the above 🙂
i dont remember exactly. maybe friends do come in this poem or maybe it means how nature feels..
Looks like you had a bad experience…friends? love? relatives?
