Happy Independence day and nice photographs Roxy…
independence day wishes abhi!
You have nice shots of potter wasps. Particularly the one on crown of thorn flower is awesome. Potter wasps are very rare with us.
the thorn flower is a euphorbia species. i thought potter wasps are common in pakistan too!
Bindu said it ! I was about to say the same. 🙂
The shot is awesome.
And I like the way you both (you & sarah) speak to each other. 🙂
Keep it up.
cuckoos 😀
your macro shots are beautiful. The soft focus in the background and the colors make the wasp pop out.
🙂 bindu, the wasp was posing nicely for me, i had no choice! the euphorbia flowers gave a good chance to compose the background.
Awesome colors! Before leaving India, I had noticed a BIG nest of this wasp on the corner of the balcony door, nicely hidden against the brown background. The nest had gotten so big (probably bigger than the size of my 2 fists) that it was crumbling and falling down under its own weight!
you should have taken a photograph of that! ok, we will do next time 😉
