I dont think I have seen one. Very cool though!
Thanks for the comments.
I understand you might be busy, since I did not see any new articles from you. Waiting for you new article.
beautiful and colorful!
I wasn’t sure which one was the tree hopper at first, I was looking at the green branch !! Looks like a little moth.. .beautiful in it’s own way!!!… it’s really small!!!
they have their tricks, you see 😉
Havent seen one either. Its beautiful! and well shot too 🙂
No! I have not seen one.
This is amazing. For sometime I was looking at the branch.
hehe. happy that you found it out. it is much more difficult in real as they are small and stay still, almost camouflaged.
Any relation to grasshopper? 😉
btw, do hop over to my blog to collect an award 🙂
Hey bindu, these hoppers are known so because they can hop for quick transportation. They usually move/walk slow so as not to attract attention.
“Hoppy” for the award 😀 We “hope” we can keep on “hopping” from one amazing insight of life to another and keep the hoppers and readers alive 🙂
I don’t think I’ve seen one. Great shot! Now that I’ve seen it here I’ll be on the lookout. Thanks for posting about this lovely creature.
Yes kanak, am sure they are on your plants 😀 These hoppers are much tiny than what it seems from the photograph.
😮 never seen this one till date or may be I never observed it ..
You might have seen these tiny insects, but not noticed. The photograph here is a macro, they are smaller than they seem to be here.
Hey, looks very like a moth. Are you sure? (Stupid dumb question by one whose never seen a tree-hopper).
Hello Ashwin, I “think” I am almost sure as this is a very small one, but looks larger like a moth because of the macro shot. Anyways, let me confirm with the InsectIndia group!
Having recently acquired a fondness for Animal Planet, I am truly (and i dont say this too often) impressed with your page.
Staright to my blogroll, you go!
Hey friction, it is so pleasing to know that these pages and photographs makes you happy 🙂
Hey I am unable to beleive that a dog can do this.. can you post the picture of that dog…

mridula, nisha, abhilash, scorpio, mohan:
Happy for your comments 😀 This is one among my favorites 🙂
never knew the name of this insect (?) until today.. thought it was a moth!
I also thought of it as a moth until a friend of mine, Gowtham, pointed out that it is a treehopper 🙂
Very nice capture! the background colors is awesome! Green shades in its best glory 🙂
Hey thats a lovely photograph man! Shades of green, enchanting…
Green is one colour which gives the same soothing feeling in all the different shades, well taken 🙂
I am happy and content that “at last” I am able to show you something that doesn’t scare you off 😛 Green? Of course!! Green is the color.
This is a great shot…
