A treehopper. Have you seen one? Treehoppers of different species are everywhere, except may be the poles. So check for one next time you move around. They are relatives of the cicadas.

  6. I wasn’t sure which one was the tree hopper at first, I was looking at the green branch !! Looks like a little moth.. .beautiful in it’s own way!!!… it’s really small!!!

      Hey bindu, these hoppers are known so because they can hop for quick transportation. They usually move/walk slow so as not to attract attention.

      “Hoppy” for the award 😀 We “hope” we can keep on “hopping” from one amazing insight of life to another and keep the hoppers and readers alive 🙂

      Hello Ashwin, I “think” I am almost sure as this is a very small one, but looks larger like a moth because of the macro shot. Anyways, let me confirm with the InsectIndia group!
