the violin boy

This is one of the favorites in our collection of the street musicians in italy. The emotion and the feeling of motion, and the lighting in this image “promptly” moves my heart every time I see it.

We had published a different image of “Music on Bottles” earlier. This time, it is the kids that capture the magic 🙂 @ Bologna, Italy.

The duo guitar players in florence were a good pair. I remember that people thoroughly enjoyed and swinged to their music over one of the oldest bridges there!

Tht violin pic is awesome….mood of the pic with the lighting is quite moving ..no one has time to appreciate anything and the violinist looks like he is penniless even with his priceless talent..

The fact that it is in front of a museum tells us that we are usually always relative. We often are ready to appreciate and pay for art which has gained some fame, even if we don’t understand the art or even if we don’t get moved by it. Most of the art works in several of these museums are those which were not popular during the lifetime of the artist but after that.

Listening to a street musician play is always enlightening, in that it is live, specially made for you. Whenever we meet someone playing on the streets, we try to stop by and listen and help with a few cents.

Wonderful pictures. I too liked the 2nd one the best of these three.

I also liked the story about that cherry picking Indian Koel. 😀
