To provide shade is to protect from calamities, like providing shelter, its difficult to be free in ones shelter, then what is the freedom over here all about? And what thoughts did you carry? I could not understand, The poem looks simple, but its not, is their any other underlying meaning? You know i can visualise banyan tree talking to oneself?
